Q. Who will see photos of my child?
A Your photos will be published on the web so that they may be voted on by the general public. Our panel of judges will also review your entries and it is entirely possible that your entry may be viewed by talent scouts and professionals in the industry.
Q. Will my Childs information be published with the photograph?
A. Absolutely not. We are committed to ensuring your privacy and will never release your Childs full name or address. The only information that will appear will be your Childs first name, region, and title of the photograph if any.
Q. How many children will be judged?
A. The number of children judged varies from contest to contest depending upon the number of entries.
Q. Are there any age limits?
A. Our contest is limited to babies between the ages of 0-60 months.
Q. Can I enter more than 1 photo?
A. Yes. You may enter as many times as you like.
Q. Will my photograph be returned?
A. Yes. If you have entered our contest by sending in a hard copy of your photograph and enclosed two stamps for return postage your photograph will be returned. If you have entered via the internet there is of course no physical image that can be returned.
Q. How many winners will there be?
A. Each contest will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners along with 2 honorable mentions. Winners of regional contests will be automatically entered in our national contest.
Q. Can I submit professionally taken photographs?
A. Yes, providing you have received written permission from the copyright holder.
Q. How can I obtain a copyright release?
A. Contact the copyright holder of the photograph and explain the purpose of the request. 99% of the time the photographer will grant you a release for the purpose of entry into our contest.
Q. How often can one person vote?
A. You can vote as many times as you would like, but only one vote counts within a 24 hour period.
Q. When will the winners be posted on the website?
A. Winners will be posted on the website and notified via mail or email within 30 days after the end of the contest.
Q. What happens if I win?
A. If you win you will be notified via email and the United States Postal service. Winning entries will automatically be entered into our national contests. If you win your prize will be awarded to you within 60 days of the end of the contest.
Q. How do I enter?
A. You may enter via the internet or by mailing your entry into our office. Please review Our contest rules for entry requirements.
Q. Why do you charge a fee to enter?
A. We charge a nominal entry fee to cover all costs associated with this contest. Such costs are web site maintenance, prizes, and administration costs. Our charter also guarantees that a portion of all entry fees are to go to various children’s organizations.
