CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Contest Fee
a. The cost to enter “A Beautiful Baby” national photo contest is $10.00. Contest fees are used for the purpose of awarding prizes, advertising, marketing, and administration of the contest. Our charter also guarantees that a portion of all entry fees are to go to various children’s organizations. Discounted entry fess may be offered from time to time depending upon current promotions.
2. Term of contest
a. Each contest will be judged at quarterly intervals dependant upon the origination of the contest. Time frames may be adjusted to fit into calendar year quarters. i.e. our fourth quarter contest will begin 1 month prior to the actual start of the 4th fiscal quarter of the year. “A Beautiful Baby” reserves all rights to begin or end a baby photo contest at anytime.
3. Ages
a. Contest is open to all babies between the ages of 0-60 months.
b. All entries must be photographs taken within 6 months of the contest start date.
4. Online Submissions
a. By entering online you agree that you are the original photographer of the photo or that you have received written release from the copyright holder of the photograph.
b. You also agree that you are the child’s legal, parent, guardian, grandparent, or the photographer of the image submitting the image on behalf of your client as a promotional incentive. In the case of a photographer or grandparent entry you testify that you have notified and received permission from the parent or legal guardian for the publication of entry photo.
5. Submissions by mail
a. You must submit a signed copy of our rules and regulations along with your photograph.
b. If your entry is copyrighted material you must also include a photo release from the copyright holder. All professional entries that do not contain a copyright release will be ejected from the contest. Ejected entries will not be eligible for a refund of the entry fee.
c. Entries by mail may be submitted in print form or on digital medium such as a floppy disk, or CD-ROM.
d. Enclose your image, floppy disk, CD-Rom, Signed entry form, copyright release is applicable, check or credit card information, and mail to “A Beautiful Baby” 12041 Beach Blvd. Suite # 18 Jacksonville, Florida 32246. There will be a $25.00 service fee for all returned checks.
e. Entries received after the contest deadline will automatically be entered into the next contest.
f. If you wish that your photo be returned to you please enclose 2 stamps for return postage,
6. Judging
a. Your photographs will be judged based on the following criteria.
i. Overall appearance, beauty, and cuteness of your child.
ii. Originality of the photograph.
iii. Photographic merits of your image.
iv. Popular vote.
b. Judging will be conducted by a panel of 5 judges employed in various professions, such as parents, photographers, advertising, Etc.
c. All decisions by the judges will be final.
d. Each and every qualified entry will be judged free of prejudice in regards to race, sex, or age.
7. Winners
a. Winners will be posted on the website and notified via mail or email within 30 days after the end of the contest. All prizes will be awarded within 60 days after notification
b. In the interest of your privacy only the winners first name, regional location, and photograph title will be published on the winners page.

9. Submission Guidelines
a. Photographs must be your original photograph or be accompanied by a copyright release from the original copyright holder.
b. Photographs that contain full or partial nudity will be ejected from the contest. In the event of an ejection you will be given the opportunity to submit a different photograph. Under no circumstances will your entry fee be returned in the event your photograph is ejected from the contest.
c. Photographs submitted online must be uploaded as a jpeg or tiff file.
d. Photographs entered via mail may be a print or a digital medium that contains your image.
e. You may increase your chances of winning by entering the contest multiple times. You may only enter 1 photograph at a time. You must follow all the entry steps for each photograph submitted.
10. We reserve the right to amend or modify the rules at anytime. It is your responsibility to review the rules for any changes.

I attest under penalty of law that I am the legal parent, guardian. Grandparent, or photographer with permission from parent or guardian of the enclosed entry. I also attest that I am the original copyright holder of such entry or that I have the proper written permission from the copyright holder. I also agree that if asked for that I must be able to provide proof of such release. I hereby certify that I am at least 18 years of age.
